James Denton, one of the stars of Desperate Housewives, has bought his own baseball team. He is a great sports fan and is part of an Orange County, California-based investment group that has just purchased minor league team the Fullerton Flyers.
The team of professionals plays in the Golden Baseball League, based in the western United States.
The actor, who plays handsome Mike Delfino on the hit show, tells America's Star magazine, "It's been a childhood dream of mine to own my own ball club and when presented the chance, I couldn't say no. I think one of the first orders of business will be to offer walk-on roles on Desperate Housewives to any big hitter in the big leagues that will suit up for me for at least one game!"
